I recently partnered with Shepherd, a new online service that helps readers fun ways to find great books. I curated a list of five Jazz Age books that are set by or on the sea. There's something about the juvenescence about the Jazz Age and the seaside seems like a perfect combination for a mystery. My romantic mystery book, Slain Over Spumoni, takes place by the sea and begins in 1920, just on the cusp of the Jazz Age, a few years after the horror of WWI when people were slowly starting to hope again and maybe have some fun, too.
